New Computers & Almost No Waiting

Andrew Carnegie Free Library installed new computers in 2005. Woman using computerWe also added 2 more computers at that time to reduce the number of times that you will need to wait for computer access.  As a result you can avoid almost any wait time for computer access by coming to the library on weekdays before school lets out.  After school hours are the busiest times for the library's computers.

The new computers have updated Man using computerversions of all the software that you have always used at the library - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Internet Explorer. Best of all, you can now transfer documents to and from both floppy drives and flash drives. The flash drives will hold much larger files than floppy drives, giving you much more flexibility to work on large documents at the library. That is a big benefit if you have pictures in those documents. You can also view documents on CD's, however, you will not be able to create or write to CD's.

You will also like the flat panel monitors that we installed. Come check them out.
